Plan of Salvation
GOD WANTS TO BLESS AMERICA
God wants to bless you personally. Are you 100% sure that you will go to heaven when you die? If you aren’t sure, take a few moments to think about the following truths. Let the Bible, God’s Word, give you guidance as to why and how He wants to bless you.
AS SINNERS, WE FALL SHORT
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
God’s Word reveals His thoughts of mankind. We are all sinners. Think about your life, have you ever sinned? God’s Word says, we all have.
THE PENALTY OF SIN IS DEATH
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
Sin keeps us separated from God. As a sinner we are bound for hell, not heaven.
“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” Revelation 20:14
JESUS PAID THE PENALTY FOR YOUR SIN
God proved His love by giving His own Son, Jesus, Who died on the cross for your sins.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
ACCEPT GOD’S BLESSING TODAY
Salvation is a gift God wants to give to you. You can accept this gift b simply asking for it.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9
You can confess your belief on Jesus by simply calling on Him in prayer right now.
PRAY THIS SIMPLE PRAYER…….
“Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you are God’s gift to me. I believe that you died on the cross, paid the penalty for my sin, and rose from the dead three days after your crucifixion. I repent of my sin and am placing my faith in you to forgive my sin. Thank you for blessing me with eternal life. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.”
YOU CAN HAVE PEACE
If you start to doubt your salcation, God’s Word gives us assurance that we have eternal life through Jesus Christ. The following verses provide comfort to those that have believed.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not on the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth in him.” John 3:36
God cannot lie. He has promised everlasting life to those that believe on Jesus as Savior.
“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;” Titus 1:2
