Music Ministry
Music is an important part of the services at Winkler Road Baptist Church. We still sing the great hymns of the faith that have stood the test of time and seek to have a stirring song service. Our song service is a time for all the congregation to worship the Lord. Our choir provides uplifting, Christ-honoring music. We also have a variety of special groups (solos, duets, trios and quartets) that minister to the congregation through music.
Bus Ministry
At Winkler Road Baptist Church we are trying to obey God’s command to go into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in. Anyone is welcome to ride the bus to church. Our air conditioned buses are newer buses that are well maintained. We provide a safe environment for children and families.
Sunday School
Winkler Road Baptist Church has Sunday school classes for all ages, from nursery to adult. Our Sunday School hour is a time for Bible study in smaller groups. We have adult classes for Young Adults, Ladies, Adults, and Senior Adults.
Truth Trackers
Truth Trackers is our Wednesday night program for Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. Truth Trackers teaches children a God-centered view of life as they learn doctrinal truth through Scripture memory, daily devotions, and weekly lessons. The children memorize verses, study devotions, and hear lessons covering six doctrines a year. Truth Trackers’ verses and lessons are organized into 18 doctrinal themes. Those doctrines are further divided into 3 years represented by color years: Green Year, Red Year, and Blue Year. We earnestly want to connect truth learned at church to discipleship at home. The children’s Truth Journals are designed to help a child lock-in truth every day through Scripture meditation and live out faith through daily devotions. The kindness of our workers and the excitement of the games are always an added bonus to a great evening around God’s Word.
Teen Ministry
The teen years are full of both challenges and opportunities. That’s why having a solid foundation in truth is so important. We want to be a resource for parents as their teenagers form their understanding of truth. These are the years where they need to be deeply rooted in God’s Word. Our youth ministry seeks to help our youth know what they believe, why they should believe it, and what the fruit of that will look like in their lives! There are also many opportunities for good clean fun! We have monthly activities, Bible studies, youth meetings, summer camp, and a whole lot more for students to get involved in in our youth ministry.
